So it seems the tranny in my 02 TL-P is gonna take a dump on me soon. Even though I havent noticed a change in the shifting or behavior of it, the D5 light flashes on and off randomly until the car is restarted. My question is this, my car has a rebuilt title and Im at 93K miles. Does the fact that the car has a rebuilt title means the extended warranty for the transmission is voided?

 

Yep. salvage title means no extended warranty. You can try and maybe you will have a good dealer that will help cover part of it. all you can do is try.
