Too Much Coolant, How to Extract?

Okay, this is gonna sound stupid but I let my buddy help me pour in some Honda Type 2 Antifreeze/Coolant and he filled it to almost the top of the resovoir tank! I checked the manual to make sure if that's correct and it shows that the max line is located just above the middle of the resovoir tank. (hard to tell where min and max is due to the compacted space).

Anyways, the real question is: how do I go about removing some of the coolant? I heard you could drain the coolant from the radiator by loosening the drain bolt or by simply using a turkey baster to suck some of the coolant out. Which is more effective?

probably the turkey baster straight from the reservoir.

The reservoir also slides off. You can do it that way and just pour out the extra. Might be a little messier though since it's at the top.

You can remove the reservoir with the cap on to avoid the mess and drain it to the proper level. It just slides up and out.

Just remove the res and pour some out. That is the easiest way.

Thanks guys. And yes, that is the easiest way! I thought I had to go under the car just to remove the bolt from the radiator. Glad I didn't have to go through all that mess!
