TL tranny fixed

  1. After researching for a few months here at AZ i decided to fix my tranny after the second AT failure at 135k: I just wanted to confirm that the 06 accord tranny fits(i got one with 35k) Just swap over the range selector switch as well as the External Filter housing; I changed the timing belt water pump tensioner at the same time. Also changed all of the motor mount as they were all pretty trashed

Hey BoostRooster, thanks for posting your tranny swap pics.

I'm unsure if it's just me, but I can't get the pics to go full view.
So, everything went well with the swap.....no real problems ?

just picked up an 05 oddey trans for my 00 TL-P. Same deal as with the 06 accord trans. Switch over ATF Warmer and the trans range sensors. I had to bypass the power steering pump speed sensor lines too. Im actually just finished switching over the parts to the new trans.

Just got it bolted up. It was a little tricky because the dif housing is just a tiny bit bigger. But its bolted in; I should have it running by tommorow.

Oh yeah, by the way the first 2 pics are the loop I made for the power steering pump speed sensor. The silver thing on top of the new trans is the ATF warmer. If you remove the silver assembly you can access the three bolts that you need to remove to swap the whole assembly. All in all it was fairly easy.
