Timing Belt viewing cover?

1999 Acura 3.2 TL, second gen. 4 speed (if that matters)

Do these cars have a cover that can be removed to view the timing belt condition without disassembling the entire timing cover and water pump? Reason: I'm within 20k miles of replacing them, but would like to examine the belt if possible.

Thanks,
Cec

I believe it has a viewing cover to view TDC marks, not for examining the belt.
I believe the cover has to come off to inspect the belt.

That may work then. If I can see the marks, the some of the belt may show for general condition such as cracks and drying out.

I totally get it. I destroyed my timing belt cover trying to get it off. it's plastic and trying to manipulate it out was very hard for me. I ended up ripping the screw holes and it never sat perfectly after that.

The Helm's states to remove the front upper TB cover (#5 on link) to inspect for cracks and oil or coolant soaking of TB.

LOL, no problem. That's why, if possible, I try to provide a 'visual' pertaining to the issue at hand. As you can see from the link, it would be impossible to ascertain anything, other than the timing marks, via that little portal.

Looking at my own, I wondered if the rear one wouldn't be easier since I'd have to pull belts and such. Thank you all for the help
