Angry Thanks Jiffy Lube! HELP!

In a moment of weakness I had my oil changed at the local Jiffy Lube... I'll never do that again.

Anyway, two weeks later I open up the hood to mess with my CAI... then I notice the oil cap is not on... and is no where to be found. SO, for two weeks I've gone around with the d*mn case being open.

I checked the oil... and there was still an adequate amount in there... what other damage could this have caused??? I'm furious!!!!

Has anyone else had service issues with places like this and if so had any positive results going back and complaining???

Well, unless you drive in a crapload of dust every day, I wouldn't worry to much about it. Your hood covers the engine well enough that nothing big enough to cause damage can get in your engine. Just make Jiffy Lube buy you a new oil filler cap and NEVER TAKE IT THERE AGAIN!!!! You're lucky, I've heard of people taking their cars to get the oil changed at these places that end up with stripped oil drain plugs, not enough oil, too much oil, wrong oil (viscosity, type, etc.) oil filter not tightened so all of the oil suddenly shoots out once the filter loosens up. A lot of these guys are high school shop class rejects that shouldn't be allowed near a car. Not all of them, but most.

jiffy lube was on tv few months ago about scamming customers. They suppositly changed the oil and did not. it was on cnn. I'd go complain for a refund and get a oil change but not by them. I always take mine to acura dealer ship ;-).
