If you can get it to autozone or kragen type parts store- they will come out and remove a plastic cover- plug in the reader and tell you the code numbers
Report back here with those

Its free for them to check for you too

Well first you need to go to a auto parts store and get the codes read. Once you do that we can help you.

After rereading that its been 8 months since its been turned on, Change the oil first thing. Then pour a can of seafoam or fuel injector cleaner, or something like heat into the fuel tank. Take it for a drive moderately giving it gas/bringing up the revs and see if it takes care of the issue. If the idle smooths out then all you need to do is reset the ECU. Your IAC valve may also be dirty/gunked up slightly causing this issue

wqith no change in fuel for 8 months, probably the gas has water in it or has gone bad along with the oil. Pour some seafoam into the oil and into the gas

i did some troubleshooting in my car i found them in a couple of threads. first i put some injector cleaner and ran the car to see if the problem could be solve and i noticed that at high rpms or letting the gas go the car wasnt vibrating like it was at low rpms or at take off. the injector fluid never solve the problem so i was wondering if my next step is going to the coil packs. should i buy one and test each one out anyone?

Yes- thats usually the real prob with mutiple misfire codes
Buy 1 coil pack and try it down the line till it makes a differance
The gas in the tank will have bad stuff in it from sitting- throw in a can of seafoam and run another can thru the intake vacuum line

Same problem...is the solution same?

I do not have the vibration in my '03 TL but I do have cel issue, after spending some money at the dealer for diagnosis, they recommed changing PCM ($1k). I don't buy that crap and find it hard to believe that my PCM is faulty with just 55k miles on it. They did not suggest coil replacement or anything else?

Do you guys think this will be a viable solution for me as well?

My codes are P0301 and P0305.

Thanks.

If you are having a misfire code i would replace the plugs and try 1 new coil.

Will try... one more question: does it matter if it is non-OEM parts. It is convenient for me to get it from my local Advance Autoparts store then paying for shipping, and expensive getting it from the dealers in my area ($75).

Also, I have never seen under the hood of my TL, hope it is not that complicated to replace the plugs and the coil.

Thanks.
