JUst got pulled over cuz of this ik it sounds stupid but i dont have much time to study the car n not get pulled over n possibly get a ticket. Anybody know how to replace a tag light in an 03 tl-p?

 

u mean the rear license plate light???

2 small screws hold it, it's literally right above the license plate. Replace it with a t10 LED, much better than stock. Go on ebay and get it.

 

 

yea..that. i looked at it and i see like a bubble looking hard rubber casing with screws i believe.

No, but it is the same as the trunk, reverse lights, city lights, courtesy lights and i believe they are called map lights

This might sound rough BUT, Come on, You have time to post here on how to do it but you dont have 10 seconds to look at the light to see how it attaches?

Ya may want to consider downloading a copy of the service manual to help ya decide if the task at hand is within your skill level. If ya don't have the time, find a handy friend or trustworthy local shop to help ya. Hey, sometimes the auto parts guys will help ya out.

 

well...i work like a slave at a warehouse n where i park at home is basically a mainstreet so i have no time or space to lay on the floor n look at it. but i did it at my girl"s crib today and saw it was the most easiest thing ever...like legit..i felt stupid. whats even better is that the bulb wasnt bad. i just took some dirt and dust off n tried it again and it worked. mustve been barely connecting or somethn. thanks tho a-ziners

 

and yea...im just glad popo decided to not gimme a ticket..if not i wulda gone on a massacre.
