A/T gear position console light (2003 TL-P)

I did a search but nothing come up. This light is for the gear shift position at the center console and it is not working. I think it is the light bulb. Has anyone changed this bulb before? I never changed it so I need some help in getting at the bulb. Thank in advance.

Go to this link-it's pretty easy

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal

There is a bulb. It is part #1 on this diagram.
Stick a small flat screwdriver under the edge of the plastic trim piece surrounding the gear shift area on the console. (part #22) Gently pop that up and off & remove it.

Unscrew the gear shift knob.

Then pop up & off the plastic piece that has the slot for the shift lever and the cut-outs for the P-R-N-D-#-2-1. You should be able to see and get at the bulb from there.

I had tried to unscrew the shift knob but it is very tight. I do not want to use too much force as I scare I will break something. Is there any set screw or just need to be turn harder. Thanks.

There is NO screw. Just twist really hard counter clockwise, it will come off.

I am working on it right now as we speak. After I finish I will reply with the procedure. It's kind of a big deal.
