When I turn my car on it feels as if the engine is shaking....The RPMs go below 500 and the car acts as if its going to die. The TCS light comes on for a while...and if I rev the engine all the lights come on and the car dies.When i add gas and drive away, the problem seems to go away. With smooth shifting after I dont think the problem is the tranny. I would think its either a cause of my broken motor mounts, or m ignition switch. Can anyone help PLEASE!!!!!!

 

Most likely the ignition.. when you start your car, jiggle your keys inside the ignition and see if that does anything. Also, I had somewhat a similar issue that was solved by simply cleaning my fuel injectors.

I dont think its the ignition. Bring it to a place that can read codes and see if one comes up. Clean your throttle body, EGR ports, and IACV

 

The thing is, is that it only happens when I start up my car when its parked on a hill.....

 

Now its fine...but when i leave my car off in the sun and come back to turn it on. It wont turn on. It tries and tries but it wont turn on unless i give it some gas. Is this the ignition switch?Oil Change? Timing belt? Spark Plugs?

 

Is there a site somewhere that shows/tells how to Seafoam the TB's EGR ports and IACV?

I have the same problem, I cleaned the IACV, EGR, and throttle body. And still have the problem. It only happens sometimes and I dont know when. I am still looking for a fix.

 

Fuel pump relay. Worked for me !
