SRS code 2-5 2003 TL- Type S

Hi,

I just replaced the passenger airbag and reset the control module. I'm still getting code 2-5 (short to ground of passenger airbag inflator). So i'm not sure how to fix this.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

you went back and redid all the connections- ground wires are all clean and tight?

reset the system with our DIY method?
here is the list of them, scroll down for SRS reset

As I understand it, if the airbag deploys, acura calls for replacement of the srs module; and it has to be initialized by the dealer. Try calling Air Bag Systems @ 888 439 0698. They can repair/reset the module and it doesn't require initializing by the dealer.

I just came from the Acura dealership today. Found out the passenger airbag I purchased had cut wire. I was able to fix it with a regular wire connector. Dealer said aibag is still good. But the module is shit. Said that there is no way to reset the module w/o it being in the car (which i dont believe). I guess the guy that "reset" the module for me screwed me over. Btw great link!
