Squeaky Driver's Door

So I noticed some of our 2G's have squeaky driver side doors.. it happened to me not too long ago. It used to be quiet but for some reason, it started to squeak on me like about a month and a half ago. I tried to lube the door hinges and bolts with oil, it works for two days and you hear the squeaking again.

Does anybody have a fix for this? I also tried tightening the bolts (found out some of them were loose) to no avail. I heard WD-40 works ?

squeaky doors are annoying !

Use white lithium grease. WD-40 is best for penetrating rust and water displacement. A grease will last longer.

a good grease will fix, the prob with a spray lub like wd 40 is that it dries up too fast. and pee will not fix the problem mr maker.

I had this issue when I owned my second gen I used wd40 but the creek would come back after car washes and rainy days. Than I sprayed some of my motorcycle chain lube on both pivot points and it never came back.
