# of speed sensors?

I'm trying to order it and one site is giving me the option to replace 2 and one is giving me only one. How many SS are there exactly? Thanks in advance.

it has 2 speed sensors in the transmission. there are 4 sensors, one on each wheel for the ABS/TCS system. thats whats used for speed reading for the TCS system.

Long story short. I was stuck in my house for 2 weeks straight in a snow storm and needed to get out. I got chains prior to the storm and I double and tripple checked the tags on the bags to match my tire size and they still seemed loose when I put them on but then again I wouldn't know because I've never had to use chains before (prior WRX owner) So when I was trying to get out of my street the chain broke and wrapped around my axle. My TCS and ABS lights came on and I took it to Acura of Portland to have one of my tech friends there put it on the lift and check it out. He said it wasn't the TCS/ABS sensors because they looked fine and then we cleared the codes and turned the car on and they came back and he traced it back to the VSS.
