The other day i was washing my TL for the first time, and I thought I was loosing my damn mind because I kept hearing a street bike in the distance every three minutes or so. It sounded like it was dropping into gear and taking off....than I realized it was my car. Its very faint and I cant tell where the heck its coming from. Anyone else get this? I used to hear a similar sound when my abs actuator was low on my accord and integra, but I dont think that this is the same.

Could it be the fuel pump?

When i turn my car off sometimes i get a humming noise coming from underneath. I have noticed it even a couple of minutes after, but only happens once

yeah, car off. happens over and over again for as long as im next to it. its very faint.

my buddy has a 99 also, he noticed the same noise from his as well.
