Had the same issue about a year ago. Turned out it was a faulty ignition switch. Swapped that out with a new one and problem went away.
I'd be on the freeway driving and it would turn off, then turn back out after like a few seconds.
Other things you could check are your grounds, check for any faulty coils or spark plugs to be safe. Also main relay as well.

Believe the faulty ignition switch is fairly common and well documented.

if you are driving a 99 TL I will say with 99.998% certainty, that the post above are correct
Even a 2000 may have the faulty switch problem
if you wiggle the key when parked and running, does it do anything bad?
Does it do it on turns?
Any wire/plastic melting/burning smoke smell in the cabin?
Do you or have you carried several keys/weight on the key ring?
its more prone to wear in that situation = car key and house key only
Get a new one, iirc about 50 dollars at any parts store- don't need oe~
99 had a recall to install a new one- once, then on owner the next 3 to 5 times it fails!
Assuming its a 99 and the recall was done, the diy is simple and in our diy section,
they did the hard for you already
Its just the back part- the electrical section of the switch that you want
not the key part
the dealer can ck your VIN for recalls being done, or call 1-800-382-2238 x5 gets a human, that's acura care- need cars VIN to register as owner and ask if all are done
Everyone should ck in with acura- the ever expanding recall VINs for airbag problem may outpace their ability to send out notices
If you are not registered with the 800, you do not exist in the system to notify

coils make it run bad NOT shut off while driving
If ign switch back part is ok, then the Fuel Pump RELAY is often at fault, ck our diy section, link is 5th line down main section thread list
only 99 had recall for ignition switch back part, but same prob can occur in later years from heavy key ring
similar to the problem a decade of GM cars are being recalled for ignition switch failure now

the green light means car recognizes the key
It wont start at all if there is a problem in that system
so did you get the back part of switch where all the electrical takes place?
that's the failure point on our switch and does not require a new key- just plug and play
additional question- you HAD the spark plugs replaced, were the correct 8$ each NGK plugs installed??
Shops will throw in whatever the parts store sends, often bosch or delco or other bs that are not approved for the TL,
Denso which cost more and last fewer miles, or NGK Iridium or Platinum are the approved--and ONLY approved plugs-- for the TL
Many have tried other brands and within 6 months were spending more to install the right ones, high priced E3s included in the test- not good in the TL!!
