You mean beyond the "Max Level"?
Why? did you overfill your reservoir? It wont kill the PS Pump.. It can overflow though if you lock your wheel to one side.

Don't worry it will overflow if anything just making a little mess. It wont hurt your PS system at all.
Main reason why there is an Air Gap there is because of that, When you full clock the wheel the PS Fluid tops off the Reservoir.

use a turkey baster ($2 at grocery store) to suck out the excess

YES it is bad to overfill for several reasons= max line has a purpose!!
Do use only Honda ps fluid to fill the system! its very picky

If you had to top it off, there is a problem somewhere = leakage
Often the orings at back of pump are responsible

if not in the diy there are plenty of threads on it- I have written it up in detail more than once, its also in your owner book,
free copy from acura here Acura Owners Site | Exclusive Knowledge, Service, & Benefits

simply remove upper hose at res and slip a piece of garden hose that just fits OVER the return line and secure together with hose clamps= or make a huge mess!!

Place catch bottle for fluid at other end of drain line

Place cardboard under front wheels to reduce friction
Start engine and turn wheels both directions to full lock- then back the other way,
repeat until ALL the fluid is out
turn engine OFF
This will NOT HURT the ps system at all- its acuras method!
just don't drive with it empty~

Now replace the return line, fill the res, restart engine and turn wheels lock to lock to push air out
ADD fluid as needed to res, it will keep getting sucked into the rack- where it lives

Options: drive around a bit or immediately do the full drain again while running, then refill = done!
its that simple!

getting right hose at hardware store is the hardest part, measure the outside diameter of return line
That hose size info is in threads on azine, look for them in problems section
