I'm brand new to this site but I just recently picked up a 2001 Acura CL Type S. The car is clean only one problem is that the original owner thought to swap the original cat with one off a 1995. Now I'm no car guy I've never been crazy about them so I don't know much about them past the basics but if someone who could help me by telling me how many catalytic converter the car has and what I should be looking for so I know if the one I'm looking at would be fine to buy or not. Is there a problem with the cat itself? reason for desire to replace?
You can get stock type but not OE, or several aftermarket choices from stock to high flow for racer types
