Seatbelt wtf

So today all the change fell out my pocket on the way into work when I punched the throttle. I guess a dime rested right on the seatbelt fastener and when I took my belt off the dime fell inside somehow. Whats the quickest way to get this out?? Really have no desire to drive home w no belt and get pulled over for it.

Since the coin is now sitting flat at the bottom of the buckle, the only solution is to take apart the buckle assembly.

U need torx 10 security bit. Which I don't have FML. I ended up pulling the center console, raising rear of seat and lowering the front to expose the buckle bolt. 14mm wrench to remove the gold bolt. Once it was off I pried the dime back to a flat position and it was STILL STUCK by the spring mechanism. So I stuck a nail file beside it and pried till it fell out. Now on change goes left pocket only fuck that was crappy.

And you can get a set of security trox at an auto parts store...if ask they say no because they no have no idea where they are standing, go to the tool section and usually a like 20-50 bit set will have the security trox head, or hardware store but i haven't had luck finding them there

Change goes in my pocket. That's where I had it but the acceleration made it slide out. From now on change goes in LEFT pocket. Lesson learned. 5 point harness isn't needed I don't race. I was actually in a parking lot when this happened.

try using a set of precision tools like the ones for pc repair, or hobbies...all you really need is a thin probe to move it around and thin long tweezer to grab on should come right out

There is no need to buy any special tools, because I can pretty well assure that MilwaukeeDave won't ever let this to happen again.

Lol today I put my change in my lunchbag. Problem solved forever. I usually only have change for vending machines at work anyways.
