Dealer claimed it is wear and tear item and would not fix mine when the car was under warranty. It cracked by itself. Use vinyl and leather repair kit, it works great.

i also recommend the "as seen on t.v. leather repair kit". stuff worked great on a cigarette burn i HAD on the back seat.

I hate to drag this back up but I was reading this forum and leather IS NOT a wear and tear item. I've had the leather bottoms on both driver and passenger seats replaced in my 02 TL-P at 47 and 48k miles because of excessive wear.

how long does your warrnety cover?>
like how many miles/km and how many years?
is it differnt for differnt places?
i have some hair line cracks that i wnat to get rid of..
if i can get it replaced for free, then i prob wont use a leather repair kit.

4 years or 50,000 miles. I've had my leather seat covers (bottom portion) replaced on both seats under warranty.
