Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this problem.

I have an 02 TL, bout 31k miles and yesterday while trying to lock my door, the right side wouldn't lock. I can't even manual lock it or push the knob down.

anyone got any ideas?

 

I would have to say something in the door lock assembly. does the door handle open the door ok?

 

Yeah the door opens and all that...remote wont lock it, key wont lock it and even pressing it with my thumb wont lock it.

 

Unless you dont feel comfortable doing so i would take off the door panel and look to see if any thing has caused the lock to bind up. Its possible the actuator is bad.

 

Thanks, I guess I'll just take it to the shop.
