replacing hid bulb

replacing hid bulb

for some reason im unable to remove the cover once i take off the screw. it doesnt even budge like it's stuck or something. i tried turning it clockwise and counter-clockwise and neither way seems to work. any tips?

give it a good turn, it will come lose, u can go either way

try using a rag to grip it better, i actually got fed up and used a screw driver on the lips, and gave some taps with a hammer. came out eventually

yea man i remember when i did this it was a B* to take it off...like mentioned above find something to grip it better...good luck bro..

finally got it off, then i had trouble putting the bulb back in. gave it a good hour and finally got it done.

I think there's DIY thread somewhere....

But, IIRC, there are two removeable vent pieces that will pull up and out of the way to allow access. The top piece has a push-pin locking device that you have to pull back first.
