Don't lose those bolts and clips while you're at it.

02 Acura TL headlight replacement

New here - I have a 2002 Acura TL with 85,000 Km Just noticed that both headlights have condensation in them. I bought new headlights and attempted to replace them. After attempting to do this myself I gave up. Does anyone have any specific step by step instructions hopefully with pictures, on how to replace both headlights?

To mikeaveli: its really easy if you've got the patience. First reomove the bulb housings. On my '99 there are tamper proof screws on the top side of the housing. If you have the tamper proof bit, cool. If not I used some needle nose pliers to get mine off. Next unscrew the housings. The drivers side is a little tricky. There's a limited amount of space there. You will want to remove the radiator overflow bottle and sit it to the side. The next part is fun! There is a clip on each bulb. You do not need to remove the screws holding it like I did. You want to push down on the bottom of it and push it sideways to free it from the hook that its holding on to. You will know when its free. Voila! Take out the old and replace it with the new one. The bulb fits in a certain way. Spin it till it lines up. Make sure the new bulbs go back in their socket correctly also. Put everything back and you're done!

To romulio: google hid color chart. You'll find a chart and you can see what color best suits your needs.

This seems time consuming and a little confusing for someone who doesn't know how to do this. Are there any other suggestions to clearing the headlights or would I have to go somewhere to get it done?
