Angry Replaced CV joint, Car wont start

Hey guys, okay so earlier today i replaced the CV joints on my 2000 Acura TL. The right one went fine, got it installed and everything, took it for a test drive and all was good. When it got to the left side, we still got it in and out okay and went to take it for a drive. Except the only problem is that when we tried to start the car, it sounded like it was trying to start and just died. So now the car wont start and it wont shift out of gear. We took the whole axel out and re-installed it, checking for any errors or damages, none. Still the same. So we re-installed the old axel to see if it made a difference. But it still doesnt turn on or wont shift out of Park.

You cant even hear the shift solenoid move. I can bypass this by using the neutral safety switch but the car doesnt start so all i can do is push it. We checked the brake light switch, most relays and am checking the PCM box that the solenoid wire runs to.

Anybody have any ideas? This day has been frustrating as hell..

If you are referring to the thing to the right of the shift pad. Yes it does shift out of park using the bypass. But it doesnt really make a difference because i cant start the car

I didn't think the car would shift out of park unless its running. The car wont jump start?

If you have the car in the "ON" position in the ignition it still moves. Tried it in the CL we have also, does the same thing, so its normal. Tried to jump start the car also, didnt make a difference, ..

What do you mean by "it just died"? What exactly happens when you turn the key? Does your immobilizer light flash?

I mean like you heard a click like it was about to start, then the click just died and now theres no sound at all. The engine doesnt even turn over, its like im not even turning the key at all. The guages fill up like normal and the lights come on as usual in the "ON" position. But after that nothing, no sound, nothing flashes.

I wonder if your ignition switch interlock is bad...if you whack the steering wheel a few times or release the tilt lock and move the wheel up and down will it start?

I know you said you checked the brake light switch, how did you check it? Brake lights work fine? I don't know what the hell it could be beside that switch, thats really what it sounds like the issue is. Hope you get her going.

Yeah i kind of wish i knocked it off, check this out..

I coudnt believe how corroded it was. We found it by tracing the ground wire back from the transmission. But now everything is back together and the car runs. The D5 light was flashing but then realized we didnt hook something back up in the PCM..thank god not another transmission.

i was replacing a bottom ball joint boot and axle accidently popped out of the transmission while trying to slip the ball joint stud out of the lower control arm. Scared as crap now. How the hell do i pop it back in? Do I have to take the whole nuckle apart?

I can't even put this back together to roll it out of the garage onto a tow truck to take to the dealer.

By the way, all I did was remove the pin and bolt for the lower ball joint and remote the bolt for the lower control arm and fork. maybe that is why the axle popped out.
