Hey everyone,

How do you remove a terminal from a connector? I'm trying to replace the harness from the blower motor in my 2001 acura TL. I have to get a yellow and black terminal out of the brown c202 connector but I can't seem to find a release mechanism. It does have a white tab at the top that partially slides out but from that point on I'm stuck.

Thanks In Advance

without looking at mine to be sure:

ck for a way to slide a small screwdriver type tip into the back side of the assembly-often a release hook on the wire connector there

ck diy section--have we added cabin fan prob to it?

Get a magnifier & look closely at the inside, both ends. There's probably a "tang" that's holding ea. terminal in that has to be pushed back straight to release the terminal from the body. You may have to push the wire in slightly first. That's the best way I know to describe it w/out looking at the specific connector.

Look here http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/...in_removal.jpg

Hope that helps.

well the ghetto way would be to smash it with something but there actually is a small terminal tool for this sort of thing...but if not avaliable use a small screw driver and depending on the connector you usually push up or down on the small tab to relase the pin...also on the wire side there might be 2 small clips the length of the connector that must be removed
