Recall advice needed..

I have a 03' TL-S with 35,000 miles. I am covered under the 7-year/100k mile extended warrenty. My tranny is doing ok and I haven't noticed any severe problems with it (maybe i'm one of the lucky ones). Should I take my car into the dealer to have a oil jet kit installed into my tranny and have it inspected anyways? Or just drive until I notice severe signs of failure? I've been reading a lot and the replacement trannys seem to give out way faster then the original ones? Help please..

Well, it's up to you. The oil jet kit doesn't even fix the problem of the tranny's failure. Your probably fine without it.

I would go get teh oil jet. Also by not getting it you are potentially voiding the warranty extension of the tranny by not doing it It fixes a problem while very rare its not something you want. Its alot worse a failure than the ones the rest of us have wittnesed. And the reading you did was on the earlier replacements.

Ok thanks guys. I guess I will call the dealership tomorrow and find out when I can bring it in to get the oil jet kit installed. It normally takes one day correct?

Made an appointment for earlier today for tomorrow. They said it will take 1 1/2 hours to install the oil jet kit.
