got a quick question... cleaned my IM, egr, and installed a thermo-block gasket last weekend. when i was putting everything back on (as you can see in the pic) i noticed that this cable has some slack in it. i cant remember how tight it was when i took it off... anyone shed some light?

 

mine had a bit of slack too. when i unhooked it.

 

You shouldnt have had to loosen the cable to take it off. There should be some slack, not much. Manually open it from the IMRC and make sure it pulls the valve all the way open. If not adjust it slightly so that it does

 

sounds good. and i didnt loosen it i just opened the valve and unhooked it i havnt felt anything out of the ordinary or any performance loss so it should be good just double checkin
