Hi All,

Can you help me figure out a problem with my tail lights? My left side tail lights do not come on when my headlights are on. But when I press on the brakes, it works. I dont think it's the filament because I checked both of them (both of the lightbulbs that make up the left tail light) and they look fine.

How can I fix this?

Option 1- try a bulb from the other side and know for sure if its bulb or wiring

Option 2- Appearance is deceptive. Unless you have an electrical tester to ensure they are working, just go to any auto parts store. They are special bulbs . Mine came in a 2 pack for 6 dollars. I replaced one light on the left and a month later the same one on the right side went out.
If the switching bulbs test worked, just plan on replacing all 4 and be done with it. You will have nice safe bright lights for the winter.

I dont remember the number other than they were not the old school 1157 bulbs I already had.
