ballast/igniter got toasted from the water that got inside. you can replace it with an oem ballast which will run you a pretty penny. or you can custom fit in an aftermarket hid system. first find out how water got inside and fix the leaks. also check the black market and see if anyone is selling used ballasts and ebay.

yeah the water gets in thru a bad seal most often
see the diy threads on resealing or look for aftermarket housings online
there is a vent/drain hole on the bopttem of the housing which drips directly onto the ballast shorting it out

score one from the local auto recycler yard or get an aftermarket unit/kit

If getting new bulbs stay with 4300k stock color, or 5000k more blue

you will have to remove the headlights, which is easy.

take the front bumper off which is very easy, https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...58#post1870075

and then unscrew the headlights, which is pretty straight forward.

with the unit out, the ballast can be taken off. its on the bottom and is a small gray aluminum box which is held in by a few screws.
