Passenger window issue

I rolled down the passenger window and it wouldn't come up. When I try to roll up I hear the motor running sound but nothing happens. Does this mean regulator gone bad?

Original part seems like $120+ and I see some third party parts on eBay and Amazon for around $50. Are these any good? Thank you!

I would not buy a part until you know what is wrong first. Strip your door panel off and take the white plastic off so you can see inside. This will help to see what the problem is.

If you find out its a bad regulator, I have a good one out of a base model. I will sell it for a good price.

I bought mine at a junk yard for 30 bucks. It was off of a 2000 tl. I have a 2002 tl. So just call them and ask if they have 1999-2003 acura model tl. Difficulty level was about 4 out of 10. And I've never done it before. It took me about 2 hours once I had the part including clean up. This was the drivers side back. There are more cconnections for the front but easy disconnects.
There are plenty of how to vid s on youtube. And i believe a diy somewhere on here if you search.

Oh yeah. If u decide to go junkyard. Make sure you match it up to the one in the one u have. EBay had a flood of aftermarket ones that the bolts didn't match up and people had to do mods on the. To make em work. My first one I got from them was an after market and it didn't line up. Hope this helps
