Passenger Power Window not working

I was running new speaker wires to the doors today, and now it seems my power window doesn't work. I tested the motor by hooking it up to 12V directly, and it's fine.

I looked at the fuse, and it looks ok. I guess the worst thing that could happen is I broke one of the wires while pushing wire through that rubber boot to the door.

Anything else I can check?

Just noticed this morning that I do hear a "click" from the passenger side when I hit the window button from the drivers side. Encouraging, but now more puzzling. The window does work when 12v is applied to the connector, but not with either switch.

have you fixed the wiring

I had the same issue as you after I run speaker wire from crossover to the door through the tube; both my rear door windows stopped working. I can think of nothing else but the factory wiring connection was broken during speaker wiring pass.

Haven't got time to re-open the door panel yet as I am really tired of open it again.

Ok I feel pretty dumb, but this was the problem. One of the little metal contacts in the window switch connector was bent, and was not going into its slot. The connector did seem to go all the way in and lock, so I didn't think of checking this right away. After bending the pin back straight, bingo it worked.

Help!!!! I followed the advice & now the window works by the rear window switch which was the original problem. But now I can't seem to get it to operate by the main power on the front driver's door.
