Passenger HID Foglight Out?

So this isn't your typical foglight question. This morning as I was driving to school, I realized only one side of my foglights were working, the driver side. The passenger side went out. So, I swapped the ballast to the working side and tried it and it worked, same for the bulbs. So, I know it's not an issue with the bulbs or ballast. It's a problem with the wiring.. which has been fine for almost a year already..

I wired the foglight connector they gave me from DDM (spliced them into my stock foglight connections +/-). and now i can't figure out what's wrong.. I checked the connections and they all seem to be fine.. it just crapped out on me out of no where..

I was thinking it might be a fuse? Please help me out here... dont want to drive with just one side on.

Sounds like there's no power coming from the foglight connection on the passenger's side. I can't hear the ballast fire up, but on the other side as it works fine, I can hear it. Again, both bulbs and ballast are fine.

The 2 sides are tied together, 1 fuse. If one side isnt working and when you swap the bulb and ballast and know they work you need to look at the wiring between the 2. Check the ground as well

The wiring seems fine. I undid it and nothing was wrong. Nothing loose, everything was clamped tightly with the splices. How do you check the ground connections?

If its working like you said with the stock bulb it has to be your splicing. Nothing else would cause it. Its getting the power there, your ballast isnt getting it from the splicing is what i would say.

There would be no reason to check the grounds if your stock lights work.

undo your splicing and re do it. It may look fine but it doesnt mean it is.

I have the exact same problem but on my driver side, what exactly Did you do? Instead of connecting and pluggin in the foglight connectors you just cut the foglight wires from the ballast and tapped it to the foglight connectors from the car?
