P1607 Code - ECM Internal circuit malfunction
P1607 Code - ECM Internal circuit malfunction
My battery died in my 99 TL and required a jump start. 2 days latter CEL came one. Had code read - P106 ECM internal Circuit malfunction. Any chance this was triggered by jumping the car? Is this something that needs to be addressed immediately, or do I have some time?
the TL hates low battery conditions and will send false codes
as fsttyms1 said- do the ECU rest with the clock fuse = secret backup power to ecu, will clear all codes and driving a few days in varying conditions will reset parameters

Welcome Vaterp83 !!!
A good place to start would be to have your car's electrical system load tested for free at most any auto parts store. If your battery, alternator, or misc. wiring is on the edge......that will need to be addressed first.
For now, clear the code as suggested and see what happens. It's easier and cheaper to fix the problem now .....rather than to get stranded later, IMO.
