P01076 CEL after AV6 Swap + Leak

Hello everyone,

I bought an 02 TL with the AV6 swap done on it and it's leaking and popping a P01076 core, the range sensor. The leak is not a big deal, but this code has me puzzled. Was the range sensor not swapped over? Was the one that was transferred over bad? I can provide any info you need, just looking to be pointed in the correct direction.

Thanks!

P0706?

The range sensor plug on the accord is different than the TL harness, so unless the plug was spliced onto the AV6 unit then it was swapped. Bothe same unit, just different plugs. Check the plug is seated correctly and no damage to the wires. Does the gear indicator between the speedo and tach function properly?

Where's the leak coming from?

Uhh whatever the range sensor code is, yeah. Leak, not sure. Giving it to a shop Thursday for them to figure out because it's somewhere I can't get to without jacking up the car. Thinking it's the oil cooler lines. According to the PO, it was spliced in. The gear indicator does not work properly. It works occasionally, sometimes it works for days, sometimes it appears for 10 minutes, sometimes it flashes.

It only doesn't work properly for D5*. It works 100% of the time for every other gear.

My bad I looked again. It's the code for the neutral safety switch P1706.

Probably a bad splice. Should be pretty easy for a shop to figure out. Good luck.
