Oil pan is finished

Hey guys. I just had one quick question. What vendor would you suggest for an oil pan for 2002 Acura 3.2 (not S type) sedan? Some dickhead at a quicklube place stripped the hell out of my oil pan and it's too messed up to rethread. I noticed it way too late to be able to prove it was them, even though it definitely was. I have a temp plug in it right now, but it's leaking, so I really don't think I have a lot of time to get it fixed.

And if I get a new pan, should I not get aluminum to avoid this happening again?

I had a headlight issue about a year ago and the vendors you guys suggested were awesome. I got my parts and repairs without a hitch. I couldn't remember my login, so I had to remake an account.

Thanks it advance fellas

I buy all my oem parts thru this place. Recently i have been able to print out the page and price and have gotten my local dealer to match. The pans only come in Aluminum.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check them out. I guess I just assumed there was another option rather than aluminum since the problem was from steel on alum. I'm not exactly a car whizz, so any info is helpful.

~TIP~: Try to stay away from the "Quickie-Lube" joints !

If possible, attempt to "DIY" things like simple oil changes and filter. You'll save some money along with knowing that the job was done properly. Also, your choice of materials used will give you some peace of mind and more personal satisfaction with the desired results.

Why not fixing it, quicker and cheaper. new pan could lead to new problems, unless that is your last resort.
