O2 problem
I have an 01 acura tl and I replace my sensor2 with an aftermarket and a hollow cat. It worked fine for about 6 months then the sensor went out. Well I went ahead and bought an oem sensor. I had to soder the female connection back to the wiring harness so I could connect the new oem sensor. I reset my check engine light. I turned the car on and drove for about 10 miles turned the car off and then back on and drove the car again but the check engine like came back on with in a mile or two. The code that I keep getting is p0137. I am just wondering if its the hollow cat that is causing this or maybe i have the wiring incorrect. If someone can help me with this I would really appreciate it.

I am stuck on 2 wires. Dont know which go together. Here is what I have.
Harness Sensor
Green Gray
Green and yellow Black
Black and white White
Black and yellow White
I know that the black wires go with the white wires obviously. I know that the Gray wire on the sensor is ground and the black wire is signal. I just dont know which green wire is which on the harness. If someone knows, I need your help bad. It sucks driving looking at the check engine light and gas gauge just moving quicker than normal.

its the soldering that screws up the wire resistance(?) and changes operation of o2 sensor
they are pretty thin wires as I recall, others have had prob when not using the Denso brand, which is a `plug and play` sensor --no cutting wires
with your cat gutting- you need to run a shroud around the sensor to slow the flow rate closer to normal
buy a 14mm `spark plug anti fouler device`- 5-10$ parts store item
have to cut much of its end out, see many pics on azine for help,,probably in the diy too
all hi flow cats need it, so yours would qualify~

I am going to do that. But I still have to figure out the color coding on the wires and then I still have no choice but to solder the female end so I can plug the sensor in. I hope this works. Still appreciate the input
