I bought my TL about 3 months ago and am in heaven with it. A couple days ago the alarm wouldn't turn on. I thought nothing of it but today it happened again and I noticed the drivers side door wasn't locked after pressing the lock button on my remote. I looked at all the doors and noticed the rear passenger side door was having the same problem. I'm not sure what could be causing this whether its an electrical problem or just a switch. Has this happened to anyone before. Any input would be great; thanks in advance for any advice.

 

The first thing I would check is the battery in the remote - have you done this yet? Does this happen with both remotes or just one?

 

Well i put ina new battery about 2 weeks ago and there was no problem at the time. The issue isn't only that; i realized that the doors won't all close from inside using the auto lock feature on the drivers side door (The rear passenger door and drivers side door). But agian it only happens occasionally with the drivers side but the rear passenger side won't open or close unless done manually.
