mornin guys,
i started my car up this morning & my maint req'ed light blinked 10 times, car seemed to run as normal. any ideas.

I may be wrong, but I think that light turns on to remind you to do your 30/60/90k maintenance, or maybe every 15k miles. Usually it's just a reminder, not an indicator of a problem. At least this was the case on my Integra, I hope it's true for the TL, because my light has been on for a while now.

Its supposed to be reset at every oil change. Its preprogrammed to come on full at 7500 miles to remind you to change your oil (the recommended oil change interval) Info on it and how o reset it is in the manual.

But you are right that it means nothing of there being a problem

I need to learn how to reset it because it is beginning to irritate me.

 

Press and hold the trip and reset buttons. Continue holding them while turning the ignition to the RUN position (not starting it) continue holding them till the light goes off (aprox 10 seconds)
