I never really pay attention to the car when i start it up.. but after the crazy winter storm when i hit a curb.. mess up the rim a little.. i start looking and notice the Maintenance require light flashing for like 3-5 seconds after starting up the car.. then it goes away.. i really never pay attention to it.. but i was wondering if its normal or is it really something wrong with the car?????

 

It happened to me too! but now its always on, i think its something to do with my CAI....do you have any mods done to your car?

nothing is wrong. acura and honda cars are scheduled for maintenance.

Press and hold the Trip and Reset light with 1 hand, while holding them BOTH in turn your key
to the RUN position (not start but run) and continue to hold them in till they turn off. It takes about 10 seconds(from this thread - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ntenance+light)

 

It has nothing to do with any thing! Its supposed to be reset at every oil change to be a reminder to change your oil at 7500k miles. Its in the manual and in the link provided by wside09.

 

okay i just went and did it.. it turned off.. thanks you guys.. i took it to the acura shop and they said they'll check it out.. they told me the cost was 220$$$ i was like wow.. thats crazy just to turn off a light.. i said forget.. i can ignore it.. but hey it turned off.. thank wisdeo09 or else i would of waste 220 just to turn off a light..

 

it says so right in your manual if you read it. and it also tells you how to turn it off.
