I know its been asked a million times before... but what else is supposed to be changed along with the timing belt on a 99 TL. She has 157K on her and I wanna make sure everything is done the right time. I've tried doing searched but I'm not getting anything back. I wanna make sure this mechanic I'm going to for the 1st time knows his sh*t.... b/c I don't.

 

if nothing has been done before do the plugs, water pump, timing belt, accessory belts and that should be it. the plugs and accessory belts are something you can do yourself relatively easily, but if you are disinclined to doing that i would just let the mechanic to it. he has to remove the belts anyway.

hopefully someone will chime in if i missed something. if you do a search though you'll get the answer i gave you and perhaps a few more.
