Leak in Tail Lights
Leak in Tail Lights
**I'm sorry, I think I may have posted this in the wrong place at first, but I'm new, please bare with me, Thanks**
Hello Everyone. I bought a 02 TL Type S about a month ago and I absoloutly LOVE IT. Especially for the price I paid and in comparison to other cars I was looking at purchasing, this was the best bang for the buck...and with room for mods - my favorite part.
I was really suprised to see no one had posted anything about this yet, but I have WATER in my rear turn signals, mainly the white/clear part, not so much the red, especially the passenger side one, it's "drenched". The water is ALWAYS there, and won't dry out. Any suggestions or a DIY on how to take off the tail lights (or specifically the turn signals) and dry them out and reseal them or something? I'm really hoping I don't have to bake them in the oven to get them apart like I've seen on some DIYs for the headlight housing mods. Out of curiosity, has anyone had this problem? CAN ANYONE HELP? THANKS.

I havent seen this as a issue before. I would take it out and look for a crack or broken seal where water would have gotten in. As far as removing it you will have to pull the carpet back to get to the tail light then unplug and unbolt.
