HID wants to turn on but doesnt...

Ok, my drivers side HID flickers for about 2-3 seconds and the High Beam bulb comes on for just about 2-3 seconds as well but then it all shuts off. The Passenger HID is working fine but I have no idea whats going on with the other one. So in a nutshell, it flickers but never comes on. Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fix it?

I don't think I do. I bought the extended warrenty, but i'll check and see if it's covered. I know I had condenstation built up in my headlamp and they didnt replace that under warrenty. But i'll let ya know.

I'm no expert, but the fact that the flickering is happening to both the lowbeam and the highbeam makes me think that it's not a bulb issue but instead a wiring issue?

Dont tell me you spent $200 on those high temp bluish bulbs? .. They may look good but you are going to kick yourself in the rear end once it rains because visibility would be worse than halogens. There is a reason why car makers opted for 4300K bulbs and it is because its the best output/color combo. At 4300K a regular D2R bulbs produces around 2900 lumens and your 8000K (or what ever the temp is IMO its high looking at the pictures) yours would be only producing aruond 2000 lumens to 2500. So i say go back to your old bulbs.

Yea.. they are 8000k bulbs. Your right the visiblity in the rain is far much less then with the stock HID bulbs in the rain as I found out yesterday. It wasn't so bad. I am just lucky I live in an area where most of the roads are lit up enough to see well. But yea.. they are crazy blue. I didnt know it was going to be that much more blue. lol.
