ok i jusy=t installed the cl type s tranny into my 2000 acura tl everything works fine but the car will not rev over 3000 rpms. i wanted to kno can i take a different route as far as ecu wise some say i needed a kpro ecu? are thr any short cuts?

iirc there is a unit available to make it all work easily

you may have something as simple as vtec wire not connected

your auto ecu will not work ith the 6 speed because of incorrect gear ratios. either change the wire harness, engine and ecu to 6 speed stuff or get the richie v6 module.

i dont know how people can spend so much money before doing their research.

Well you are using a auto ECU which is looking for DIFFERENT sensors and stuff. There isnt a way around it unless you change ECU and wiring to the CL-S6 OR buy the Richiev6 module. Google RichieV6 module you will get the info on where to purchase it (this sight wont allow the links for it)
