does anyone know the "code" that you have to put into the navigation to get it to work? somehow the thing managed to reset itself and now the start-up screen prompts for a four-digit code. i have a 20002 tl-s, if that makes a diff.

 

the code is different for every system. check in your ACURA book. see if there is a card with it on it. or check in your manual.

 

Your local Acura dealer should also be able to get you the code if the navigation unit is the original one.

I had the same the problem if you call acura you have to have the serial # from the unit in the trunk to get the code. Just remove all the wires and unscrew the unit from the bracket call acura give the serial # and they can look it up and give you the code. When you get it write it down and put it in a safe place so you dont have to go threw all that bs again.

 

Good advice.

And if you've registered your car online with Acura you can also enter your radio and navigation codes with your car information.
