Exclamation How to check the if the Traction Control is working ...?

I know its a weird question but there is a reason behind that ....
I had some codes regarding the cylinder misfire so I changed the plugs, I still had the "Check Engine Light" after that but the car was running fine. I got sick of the light, took it to the AutoZone and cleared it off. Now the TCS isn't working like it used to e.g when I floor the car from a dead stop it doesn't blink like it use to. I spun the car hard many time in an empty parking lot on snow but the TCS didn't blink at all.

So I am confused now, I tried to do some search but couldn't find anything. Is the Traction Control dead or what ...?
What do you think guys ....!

does it feel like the car is killing the power to the engine or do you feel little jerks like the tcs is trying to brake a wheel

I do feel little jerks on the brake paddle when I push hard but I thought my rotors might be bad. I floored the car hard few times and it pushed like it use to, the tires chirped but NO TCS light.

Is there any way I can RESET or RESTART or check the ECU or Traction Control Module. ?
Ignore my lack of knowledge, These might be dumb questions but I can't think of anything else.

it be more feeling it in the steering wheel (and the car itself)(and please don't tell me you left foot brake [that means you foot is proably resting on it then])
also do your tires sound like they are spinning when the light never activates, but you floor it

but i have also noticed the same thing on my type-s (vsa light instead) with the light not coming on as often (before the new brakelines), but i did just installed ss brakelines, but anyways it almosts seems to be time based or how severe the loss of traction actually is before it turns on the light

VSA is a different system. TCS works only by activating the ABS system so i would check there

uses the same thing the "ABS" to engage, but vsa just has a couple of additional sensors with the additional tb

Hose down your street then go out and floor it and try to get the tires to spin. If they are spinning enough it will let you know if the TCS system works.

Also if it didnt i would have to say the light would be on on your dash

i was in the snow, and from a stop i punched the gas and the tsc light started blinking and the engine sounded all bogged down. i noted in my TL-p tsc doesnt work above 20 mph, wheels start spinning like crazy.

As ive stated before the TCS system in the TL-P is the most useless piece of $hit i have ever seen. If its not all speed there is no point behind it

O.K guys ... Finally I am relieved. The TCS is working now. I don't know what happened but some how it started to work yesterday. Now I know how it sounds when the TCS activates. It's like a ticking noise. Plus It is so stupid that it doesn't work over 20+ mph.

I have to disagree with you that the TCS is a POS. I have found it invaluable with the 18 inches of snow my area received. With the TCS my car gets OK traction, with it off, wheels just spin.

also ss brakelines seems to make the VSA/TCS systems more effective because the brakes respond right away to the control inputs from the computer due to the lines not expanding

like instead kinda long brake applications, they seem like they are very short brake applications, due to the brakes responding immediatly

The point of TCS is help the car get going and avoid getting stuck. It isn't racing or off-roading.

What do you need it for over 20 MPH? If you are going that fast and conditions are such that you don't have traction without aid from TCS then you shouldn't be accelerating.
