hood wont stay up

hood wont stay up

when i open my hood it slowly comes back down. the things that on the sides that hold it up have gotten weak. what are those things called anyways? and how do i fix it? do i need new ones?

swt thanks guys. those tiens look ugly tho and doesnt look like they have any for tls. and +100 jes for 4 some dampers? i think i'll pass

if u cant get them anytime soon, try lifting up the hood and bending them a lil buy pulling on them. it worked for my 91 legend and my friends 95 civic.
