Honda/Acura transmissions the same??

My 98 Honda Accord V-6 with auto trans just blew out the transmission with 88K mile on it. I know my 03 Acura TL transmission is suspect. Does anyone know if these transmission are the same?? Maybe Honda should buy transmissions from Toyota!!!

They are similar and share the same problem.

Why would you want a toyota trans? They are having issues with theirs as well

Yup.. their trans for the new v6's are failing... talk about crappy transmissions. Let's see how Toyota handles their issues.

My coworkers Tundra tranny went out. I think the truck had 130K.
