Home made transmission jack

Just home made/modified transmission jack, I'm getting ready to swap parts and installing. Too cheap to buy a real transmission jack, mine seem to be okay, sturdy and well balance.

What do you guys think?

appears to be mounted solidly and able to support 450 pounds without a struggle!
Nice job at improvising

others may want to RENT a trans jack with support- like chains or straps to secure trans to jack
That's something you really dont want falling on you!!

How is the 4x4 attached to the jack itself? The transmission is very heavy and it doesn't take much for it to tip off the jack.

This looks great. I used a motorcycle jack and some straps from Lowe's.

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' TRANSMISSION JACKS!
