03 type s overheating

Ok. So first time on the forum, so bear with me and my silly questions. My vehicle was parked for 2 years . The tranny was blown. I had it swapped out with an 06 accord tranny. Took her out for a spin. As far as I know the only issue I had before it began to overheat was, one of the vacuum lines to the throttle body is disconnect because she won't idle or stay on if it's connected. So now I was going to see if the lines were clogged to resolve that issue but now I also have the overheating issue. Also any insight as to how I should go about reconditioning the vehicle would be great.

sitting for 2 years I would suspect water pump seal but need to look for the obvious first
Ck other current threads on overheating, there are a few right now with numerous things to inspect as you go

how it overheats is important, how much it goes above half is important, what brings temp down etc

Over heating... just replace all the coolant and replace the thermostat. Be sure to open heater core valve.

To recondition the car replace all fluid s with new fresh fluild and go from there.

However, motor oil should be replace with High Mileage motor oil to lube the seals.
