Hitting 100k

My 02 TL-S is about to hit 100,000 miles!!!Should I be worried, I already had to replace the tranny but luckily that was covered by the warranty. Normal wear and tear but not getting good gas milage, only getting about 22 miles per gallon on the highway. What can I do about this, can this be an 0xygen sensor problem or maybe I new plugs?, Any input is appreciated. Should I trade my car in....

What have you done as far as maint already? If you havent done any plugs yet i would recommend them. Fuel treatment/ Sea Foam the motor(id do before the plug change) Air filter.

Timing is recommended at 105K (do water pump while there), but Kris seems to get some unbelievable life on his engine parts (Like 200K+)

Red face My 2000 TL

I have just put 191,000 on my 2000 TL. It has not given me any major problems but I have had to replace the A/C Blower Fan and the Enginer Blower fan about 6 months ago. The dealer just told me I have to replace 4 motor mounts - this seems to be common so I am hoping all is okay after I replace them. I have to put new front/back brakes soon - 20% left. I also have a Power Steering leak. Other than than - when I fix those things I will be complete for what I need to fix.

I have also had that free transmission replacement on the recall. I got that around 97,000 miles. I hope that one lasts long because I now have 191,000 miles. I wonder how long it will last too? I am so afraid of that transmission going out and by the looks of things - here on the site - it seems inevitable. Did any one of you have problems with the replacement transmission?

I don't know if you should replace your car with 100,000 since I have already clocked 191,000. I think my car will last me longer if I fix those motor mounts and replace the power steering belt.

Good luck and I can't wait to hear what everyone else recommends.

problem free

My 2000 TL is at 160k and going strong on its original tranny. It still runs like the first day I got it. I hope it keeps going as I heard that a rebuild tranny is never as good as the original. (I could be wrong) Things under the hood have been very nice. Heated seats are gone and driver side leather begins to tear.
