If you put the shifter into "D" the car moves forward.....shhhh don't tell anyone

 

Heated side view mirrors. Didn't know that until 10 years after my dad bought it.

Also, if you can't open the trunk for whatever reason, there is a latch you can pull to open it. Open the trunk compartment cover between the rear seats, and feel for it.

 

^yeah I just realized it a couple of years ago also when I accidentally hit it. There's also a locking switch in the glove box for the trunk.

 

The cupholders behind the shifter come out for easy cleaning! Also, if you touch the accelerator to the floor and back off immediately, it downshifts. The headlights automatically shut off after 15 seconds when you shut the car off and get out then shut the door.

 

Do they come out in 01 TL?

 

The new Cup-holder design is for +02 only arent they?

Also dunno if a Trick but you can Make 1st to last longer without having to WOT or ShiftGate.
Just Press Gas about half Pedal (1/2) and it will last until you go full WOT or make the RPM reach about +5K to upshift.
Otherwise at Full WOT it will Redline Only... And normal Gas will shift superquick at 1.5-3K RPM.
