please help I just replaced my HID ballast with a kit from HID extra.it seemed everything went well however headlights will not turn on, is it possible red and black wires are crossed and need to be switched, I have black to black and red to red, don't want to blow the bulb however I'm not sure the bulb hasn't been blown already how can I check it?

 

in my mind I know I cannot cross those wires I just can't figure out why the bulb is not lighting

 

I have checked and rechecked all connections it seems pretty cut and dryI really don't know what else to do I'm not sure how to check the ballast and or the bulb

 

by the way I have only replaced one headlight so far

 

Replace the other side and see what happens there. Perhaps a fuse blew or a ground wire is loose ?

Check the "DIY"s and some other past threads on replacing the HID units.
